Game Development
I've wanted to make my own game since I was a kid. The gap between "I could build this" and "I'm actually building this" has been closing for a while. Now I'm doing it.
The first real project is Lunatic Chess - a heavily modified chess game with custom pieces, mechanics, maps, and a full multiplayer server. Modded chess, built from scratch.
After that, Oblivion: a multiplayer first-person shooter horror. That one's further out, but it's been in my head for a long time.
In the meantime, I write plugins for SCP: Secret Laboratory and Minecraft. Partly to stay close to the modding side, partly because it's how I learned a lot about how games actually work under the hood.
