Graphic Design
I got into design about a year ago. I was already building interfaces, but I started caring about them differently - as objects with their own logic, not just something bolted onto code.
I'm drawn to abstract and minimalist logotypes, and the work of building a brand from nothing: the mark, the system, the feel. UI/UX and branding are the two areas I keep coming back to.
I co-founded Aphrodi, a design agency, with a friend. We work on brand identities, interfaces, and the kind of design that actually holds together.
I also draw. In notebooks, on paper, whenever. A lot of it goes nowhere public - but there's something satisfying about a medium that doesn't require a computer.
